Miniature roses are perfection on a small scale. They grow well indoors or out and are useful colorful plantings in areas where space is limited. Miniature Roses are represented by twiggy, repeat-flowering shrubs. Blooms come in almost year around and can be found as single, semi-double, double or in clustered form. Miniature roses are great in containers, make lovely borders, and are perfect for those with a small yard or balcony.
Plant roses where they will receive a minimum of 5 to 6 hours of full sun per day. Watering daily but don’t drown them. Prune roses every spring and destroy all old or diseased plant material. Do not prune roses in the fall. Simply cut off any dead or diseased canes/stems.
