Description
Calendula officinalis also known as Pot Marigold, English Marigold, Poet's Marigold. Calendula’s orange or yellow flowers provide not only a splash of color to the garden, historically used for medicinal and culinary purposes. Calendula is exceptionally tolerant of cold weather in fall, and has long been grown as a pot herb for its edible flowers. The aromatic heads of these spring flowers can be collected and made into oils and salves to help heal skin injuries of all kinds.
